- In another bowl, whisk flour and salt; gradually add to wet mixture while mixing on low speed.
- Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, roll into balls, and coat with powdered sugar before placing back on sheet.
- Bake for about 12 minutes until cracked but soft inside; cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
- Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth.
