  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients on back of box)
  • 12.8 oz hot fudge sauce
  • 3.4 oz instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • 30 Oreo cookies, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Prepare the cake batter as directed and pour it into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and 1 3/4 cups milk using an electric mixer until thickened. Chill in the refrigerator.
  3. Once the cake has cooled, spread hot fudge sauce over the top. Pour chilled pudding over the fudge layer and sprinkle half of the crushed Oreos on top.
  4. Spread thawed Cool Whip over the crushed Oreos and finish with remaining crushed Oreos.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
