Description

  • 1 ½2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • Juice and zest of 1 large lemon
  • Juice and zest of 2 large limes
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine orange juice, orange zest, lemon juice and zest, lime juice, garlic, olive oil, brown sugar, salt, pepper, rosemary, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until blended.
  2. Marinate the chicken in half of the marinade for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F – 400°F) and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush chicken with reserved marinade mixed with honey.
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for five minutes before slicing and serving.
