Description

Enjoy a refreshing Caprese Melon Salad featuring succulent turkey slices and creamy mozzarella, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small cantaloupe
  • 1 small honeydew melon
  • 1 cup ciliegine mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 3 ounces turkey slices
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup pineapple vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Fresh cracked pepper and sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the cantaloupe and honeydew melons in half and scoop out small balls using a melon baller.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melon balls, ciliegine mozzarella, chopped basil, turkey slices, and cherry tomatoes. Gently toss until well mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the pineapple vinegar and olive oil; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently until evenly coated.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
