  • 2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups (198 grams) chocolate covered butterscotch caramels
  • 1 cup (170 grams) semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until foamy and golden brown with a nutty aroma. Allow it to cool.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, bread flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix the cooled browned butter with sugars until combined. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until smooth.

  5. Chill dough wrapped in plastic wrap for at least 24 hours.
