Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups shredded zucchini
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix vegetable oil, sugar, and vanilla until combined. Gradually add dry ingredients and fold in shredded zucchini.

  6. Prepare frosting by whisking melted butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
