Instructions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients by chopping vegetables and rinsing beans.
  2. If you want deeper flavors in your chili: (Optional) Sauté onions in olive oil until translucent; add garlic and peppers.
  3. Transfer sautéed vegetables to the crock pot along with sweet potatoes, black beans, diced tomatoes, and spices.
