  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon freeze-dried strawberry powder or ½ teaspoon strawberry extract plus a drop of pink food gel
  • 23 teaspoons all-purpose flour, if needed to adjust dough consistency

Instructions

  1. Cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Stir in vanilla extract.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt before gradually combining with the butter mixture to form a soft dough.
  3. Divide dough into three portions. Color one portion with strawberry powder or extract, another with matcha powder, and leave one plain.
  4. Shape the cookies by layering colored doughs and rolling them gently to create swirls. Flatten slightly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
