  • powdered sugar
  • vanilla

Instructions

  3. Add cornstarch, vanilla extract, and salt; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate flour until just combined. Gently fold in diced strawberries.
  5. Roll dough into small balls and coat in sugar before placing on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire racks.
  7. For icing, whisk together granulated sugar, strawberry syrup, lemon juice, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
