- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
- 2.25 ounces canned sliced black olives
- 16 ounces dried spaghetti
- 16 ounces marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, olive oil, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Roll the mixture into 2-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While baking, cut provolone cheese into circles.
- After baking, top each meatball with a slice of provolone and an olive slice as the pupil.
