  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for lime butter)
  • 1/2 cup butter (for lime butter)
  • 1 serrano chile (for lime butter)
  • Fresh lime juice (for lime butter)

Instructions

  1. Mix chili powder, cinnamon, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt, black pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar in a bowl to create the marinade. Coat the chicken thoroughly.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Grill the chicken for approximately 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  3. Meanwhile, combine melted butter with cilantro, minced serrano chile, onion, lime juice, and pepper to make the lime butter.
  4. Drizzle the lime butter over grilled chicken just before serving or serve on the side.
