Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 oz can diced tomatoes
- 8 lasagna noodles broken into pieces
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup ricotta cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Transfer the beef to a slow cooker and add diced onion, minced garlic, chicken or vegetable broth, marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, and seasonings. Stir to combine.
