Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck or stew meat, cut into cubes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
Instructions
- Season beef cubes with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the beef on all sides.
- In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; cook until fragrant.
