  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter (or coconut oil)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk)
  • For Topping: 3 tablespoons melted butter, 1 cup sugar, and 1.5 tablespoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and pumpkin spice.
  3. In another bowl, combine pumpkin pie puree, melted butter, and milk; mix until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Spoon batter into a greased donut pan, filling each cavity two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for about 12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
  7. Mix melted butter with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl; roll each donut in this mixture before serving.
