Indulge in these tender and flavorful Oven Baked Ribs, perfect for any occasion, from family gatherings to cozy nights at home. With just five minutes of prep time and a low-and-slow cooking method, you’ll create ribs that are irresistibly juicy and packed with rich flavor. Coated with a homemade dry rub, these ribs become fall-off-the-bone tender as they bake. Finish them off with your favorite BBQ sauce for an extra kick, and watch as everyone raves about this mouthwatering dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 pounds baby back ribs (membrane removed)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F.
  2. Remove the membrane from the ribs for better seasoning.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs evenly.
  5. Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil to retain moisture.
  6. Place wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 2-3 hours (check for doneness at 2 hours for smaller ribs).
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and brush with barbecue sauce; broil at 475°F for an additional 3-4 minutes to caramelize.
