Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 and ¼ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup orange marmalade
- 4 large eggs
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Zest and juice of 2 navel oranges
- ¾ cup milk

- In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs one by one, followed by the marmalade, vanilla, orange zest, and juice.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternating with milk until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for about 26 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool cakes before frosting with cream cheese frosting made from butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange zest or additional marmalade.
