  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 56 ripe peaches, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar (reserve some for the peach mixture), baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix in milk and vanilla until just combined.
  3. Toss peach wedges with reserved brown sugar and maple syrup until well-coated.
  4. Layer half of the peach mixture over the melted butter. Pour batter over without mixing, then add remaining peaches on top.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until set and golden brown on edges.
