  • 6 oz fresh spinach (or frozen, thawed and drained)
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. If using fresh spinach, wash and chop; if using frozen, ensure it is thawed and drained.
  2. Sauté minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Stir in sautéed garlic and spinach along with cheeses and seasonings.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and transfer mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Mix Panko with melted butter; sprinkle over the dip along with extra parmesan.
  7. Bake for about 5 minutes until bubbly and browned.
