  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 4 slices turkey bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon dried chives
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Blanch broccoli florets for 5 minutes in boiling water and rinse with cold water.
  3. Place blanched broccoli in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Season chicken pieces with garlic, parsley, chives, dill weed, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Sauté the seasoned chicken in olive oil until cooked through; add minced garlic toward the end.
  6. Combine cooked chicken with broccoli in the casserole dish.
  7. In the same skillet, heat heavy cream and whisk in half of the cheddar and all of the mozzarella until thickened.
  8. Pour cheese sauce over chicken and broccoli; toss gently to coat.
  9. Top with remaining cheddar cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, and Parmesan.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
