- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar (for crust)
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (for filling)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and ¼ cup sugar. Firmly press into the bottom of a springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and ¾ cup sugar; mix well. Blend in vanilla and add eggs one at a time.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until edges set but center jiggles slightly. Turn off oven, leaving cheesecake inside to cool for about an hour.
- Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight. Before serving, drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
