Ingredients

  • 1 salmon fillet (56 oz)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glaze by mixing honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard in a bowl.
  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side; during the last minute of cooking, pour the glaze over the fish to caramelize.
  4. In another pan, heat olive oil and sauté green beans for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
  5. Serve the salmon alongside brown rice and green beans, adding extra glaze if desired.
