Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup green beans
  • red bell pepper
  • yellow bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked mixed rice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown. Remove from the pan.
  2. In the same pan, add remaining oil and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Then add broccoli, green beans, and bell peppers; stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Return chicken to the pan, add soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Serve over warm mixed rice.
