Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup green beans
- red bell pepper
- yellow bell pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked mixed rice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown. Remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, add remaining oil and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds. Then add broccoli, green beans, and bell peppers; stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the pan, add soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve over warm mixed rice.
