  • 1/4 cup half-and-half cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Sliced jalapeños for serving
  • Sliced avocados for serving
  • Dollop of sour cream for serving
  • Chopped fresh cilantro for serving
  • Tortilla strips for serving
  • Grated monterey jack or Mexican cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion and garlic; drain the beans and corn.
