- 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes (petite, undrained)
- 4 cups tomato juice
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 cans pinto beans (15 oz each, undrained)
- 1 can kidney beans (16 oz, undrained)
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- ¾ teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to preference)
Instructions
- In a large soup pot over medium-high heat, add olive oil and diced onion; sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef; cook while breaking apart until browned. Drain excess grease.
