Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cup snap peas
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- In a bowl, season the chicken with salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from pan.
- In the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil and sauté garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds.
- Add carrots and broccoli; stir-fry for about 2 minutes until vibrant but crisp.
- Incorporate bell peppers and snap peas; continue stir-frying for another 2 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the wok and add remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Pour cornstarch mixture into the center of the wok and stir until thickened (about a minute).
- Toss everything together and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving hot over rice or noodles.
