  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and another with panko mixed with feta cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into eggs, then coat in the panko mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  6. In a saucepan, warm honey with hot sauce and lemon juice to create the glaze.
  7. Drain excess oil from the chicken on paper towels before drizzling the hot honey glaze over the top.
