Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 250g orzo pasta
  • 200g broccoli florets
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown (about 5-6 minutes). Set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute. Stir in the orzo and cook for approximately 12 minutes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth; simmer until most liquid is absorbed (about 8 minutes). Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and broccoli; cook until orzo is tender (about 5-6 minutes).
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and stir in fresh parsley before serving.
