- 2 large chicken breasts, diced
- 250g orzo pasta
- 200g broccoli florets
- 500ml chicken broth
- 200ml heavy cream
- 60g grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown (about 5-6 minutes). Set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute. Stir in the orzo and cook for approximately 12 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth; simmer until most liquid is absorbed (about 8 minutes). Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and broccoli; cook until orzo is tender (about 5-6 minutes).
- Return the chicken to the skillet and stir in fresh parsley before serving.
