  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder, adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup plain yogurt

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients by dicing onion, mincing garlic, and grating ginger.
  2. In a large pot, melt coconut oil over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent. Add garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant.
  3. Brown beef cubes in the pot; coat with spices.
  4. Stir in chickpeas and diced tomatoes.
  5. Pour in coconut milk, season with salt and pepper, then simmer for 20-25 minutes until beef is tender.
  6. For naan, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and yogurt; knead into dough and rest for 10 minutes.
