Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder; stir until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely before cutting into pieces.
  5. Beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth; mix in caramel sauce and powdered sugar until creamy.
