  • 12 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the room-temperature egg and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, form dough balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly.
  6. Bake for about 12–13 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet for ten minutes before transferring to a rack.
  7. For frosting, beat softened butter until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar, butterscotch syrup, vanilla extract, and cream until light and fluffy.
