  • 22 Oreos (divided)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and fold in half of the crushed Oreos. Spread into the prepared pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, and sour cream until smooth. Pour over the brownie layer.
  4. Bake for about 60 minutes or until set in the center. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. For the ganache topping, heat heavy whipping cream until simmering, then stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Mix in remaining chopped Oreos.
  6. Once cooled, pour ganache over the cheesecake layer and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
