  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup milk (use almond or soy milk for vegan)
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour (gluten-free rice flour optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 23 tbsp honey (agave syrup for vegan)
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter or vegan alternative

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, milk, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter and shake off excess.
  5. Place on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. While baking, heat BBQ sauce, honey, sriracha, and butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  7. After 20 minutes, dip baked cauliflower in the prepared sauce and return to the baking sheet for another 10 minutes of baking.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
