Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1 cup milk (use almond or soy milk for vegan)
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour (gluten-free rice flour optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
- 2–3 tbsp honey (agave syrup for vegan)
- 1 tbsp sriracha or hot sauce
- 1 tbsp butter or vegan alternative
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, milk, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter and shake off excess.
- Place on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, heat BBQ sauce, honey, sriracha, and butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- After 20 minutes, dip baked cauliflower in the prepared sauce and return to the baking sheet for another 10 minutes of baking.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
