  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk (of choice)
  • 3 1/2 tbsp oil (or applesauce)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, milk, oil (or applesauce), and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Transfer the batter to a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
