Instructions

  3. Whisk together egg, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, sour cream, and vanilla in another bowl until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the apple mixture without overmixing.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9×5-inch baking dish and bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
